Great Run, Greater Cause!

http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/site/PageServer?pagename=RFH_DC_Homepage

I ran this great race last year. Huge crowd on a beautiful day, running down Pennsylvania Ave. to the capitol and back. It was a moving morning. Thousands were to raise money and awareness for brain tumors and brain cancer research and support.

I can't make it this year. It is my middle daughter's First Communion the same day. (I am in good shape and would have rocked the race.)  We will have many families coming in from all over to celebrate Amara's day.

Anyone want to run in my place?

  1. Just discovered your blog. I had a low grade oligodendroglioma removed surgically in 1998. Since then I have become a cyclist and (sort of) runner. And more importantly, a grandmother. I love hearing your attitude, seeing your activities, and knowing that you, too are doing great. I just want you to hear that another "survivor" is approaching 14 years & have had no further issues - so your optimism is entirely appropriate!
