It has been so very long to post anything on this blog because things had been so quiet.
Everything was stable until recently. A scan in October showed there has been growth in the spot where the tumor had been resected in 2009. The team at the neuro-oncology research department at NIH including director Dr. Mark Gilbert advised surgery. So tomorrow morning, December 12, I will have surgery at NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Bethesda, MD. It should last 4-5 hours. They are telling me that I will be there until the end of the week. It is a great facility with a great staff so I am very confident in having good results from the surgery. Please keep my family and me in your prayers.
